About Clicks Group Limited
The JSE’s Food and Drug Retailers sector lists the healthcare retail and supply company Clicks Group.
In 1968, Clicks was intended to be a pharmacy, but South African law at the time forbade corporations from owning pharmacies. This meant that Clicks ran as a pharmacy devoid of medications up until 2003, when legislation was altered to permit corporate pharmacy ownership. The first Clicks pharmacy then opened its doors in 2004.
In order to support the business’s integrated healthcare strategy, United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD) was purchased by the group in January 2003.

Job description
Job Objectives:
- To quickly and effectively carry out all operational tasks at the point of sale.
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy when scanning products and collecting money for things purchased, as well as processing clubcard benefits.
- To guarantee that cash is handled safely at all times.
- To aggressively market and enroll new Clicks clubcard members in order to meet clubcard participation objectives.
- Making customers aware of deals in order to increase sales and ensuring clients “feel good and spend less.”
- To provide excellent customer service by serving as a brand ambassador, being visible, and providing a polite and professional service.
- To perform and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping chores efficiently and in accordance with store and visual merchandise standards.
- To live and drive the corporate values in order to achieve the Group’s ambition of becoming the customer’s first choice health and beauty shop.
- To keep up to date on goods, ranges, specials, and events in order to deliver accurate information to consumers at all times.
