Requirements :
- • Qualification that allows registration with SANC as Nursing Assistant. Proof of SANC receipts (2023). Knowledge of Nursing care process and procedures, nursing statute and other relevant legal framework. Ability to deliver service under pressure. Knowledge of Batho Pele principles, Patients’ Rights and 6 ministerial Priorities and ability to interpret and implement them. Promote quality elementary nursing care as directed by relevant health Facility. SKILLS: Good communication skills (verbal and written). Team Player, Initiative, Pro-activeness and Responsiveness. Must be willing to work shifts, including night duty, weekend and public holidays. Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation. Less than ten (10) years appropriate experience after registration as a Nursing Assistant with the SANC.
Duties :
- • Perform a variety of routine clerical duties that are related to activities of various departments in the clinic (e.g. Reception area, filing room, ANC etc.) Capture patient information electronically (HPRS) and manually. Register patients and file documents orderly. Retrieve patient files as and when required. Maintain the file control system in managing the movement of patients’ files. Management of ordering systems. Attend to enquiries and ensure prompt resolution of all queries. Ensure safekeeping of patient files and registers. Attend trainings and meetings as approved by supervisor. Perform all administration related functions as may be directed by the supervisor.
