We are looking for high-potential, dependable and passionate young people for learner opportunities in the power generation industry. We are committed to local community development in our areas of operation in Mpumalanga.

 

BURSARIES: NATED (N) NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AS WELL AS A DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

 

We will offer selected learners the opportunity to complete their N courses up to N6 National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering at the Gert Sibande TVET College in Emalahleni.

 

Academic requirements to qualify:

  • Grade 12
  • Results in the below-required subjects will be considered for shortlisting purposes:
    • Grade 12
      • Mathematics:
        • CERTIFICATE:50%
        • DEGREE 70%
      • Physical Science:
        • CERTIFICATE: 50%
        • DEGREE: 60%
      • English:
        • CERTIFICATE: 50%
        • DEGREE: 60% (first additional language)

 

Certified copies of:

  • CV
  • ID
  • Grade 11 statement of results
  • Proof of residence, e.g. municipal account and affidavit (mandatory for N courses opportunity).

 

Candidates will be subject to a selection process that will include psychometric assessments and other shortlisting methods and will be kept confidential.

 

These appointments will be made in accordance with our Employment Equity Policy and BBBEE Skills Development Plan for Steinmüller Africa and Bilfinger Intervalve Africa.
